For singers · voice professionals · voice-care teams

A fitness tracker for the instrument you can't replace

Infinivox is a vocal fitness tracking app that helps you keep track of your vocal health every day. Three minutes of guided tasks measure your range, stamina and smoothness; clinically validated questionnaires capture how your voice feels. Together they become one clear score, meaningful trends — and insights you can share with everyone in your voice care circle.

Made for every serious voice

Whether your voice is your art, your livelihood, or your recovery — Infinivox turns "how has it been?" into something you can see.

Singers & performers

Track your range and register smoothness across rehearsal seasons, tours and rest weeks — and learn what your voice needs to peak.

Occupational voice users

Teachers, doctors, lawyers, presenters — anyone whose work runs on their voice can watch load and recovery, day by day.

People in voice care

In voice therapy, or before and after laryngeal surgery — objective daily measures show the arc of recovery between appointments.

Clinicians & coaches

Speech pathologists, laryngologists and voice coaches receive patient-shared reports with real trends — not just recollections.

What Infinivox measures

A complete picture of vocal fitness — objective acoustics, validated symptom measures, and the lifestyle factors that move them.

Three-minute daily check-in

Guided pitch glide, vocal stamina and free-speech tasks with video tutorials. A semitone note selector, reference tone and live tuner keep every day measured on the same pitch — so your trend means something.

The Infinivox Score

One number from 0–100 blending range, smoothness, stamina, symptoms and lifestyle — colour-banded, fully transparent, and built to track your baseline rather than compare you to anyone else.

Clinic-grade question packs

The same validated questionnaires used in voice clinics — EASE daily, VHI-10 and V-RQOL fortnightly, RSI monthly — plus custom packs for anything else you want to track, from hydration to warm-ups.

Trends, triggers & calendar

Overlay your score against voice load, alcohol or sleep-adjacent habits and spot your personal triggers. A colour-coded calendar keeps your consistency honest, one glance at a time.

Your voice care circle

Build a report of any metrics over any dates and share it by email, SMS or file — pre-addressed to your speech pathologist, laryngologist or voice coach. Your data stays yours until you choose to share it.

Passive vocal dose Coming soon

Upload wearable-sensor or all-day recordings and Infinivox computes your daily vocal distance using the published Titze dose model — how far your vocal folds actually travelled today.

Guided, every step of the way

Every task comes with a short video tutorial recorded by voice clinicians — so your very first pitch glide is done right, and every one after is comparable.

Inside the app you'll also find a full walkthrough of how to read your score, spot your trends, and share results with your care circle.

How it works

Designed to fit inside a morning coffee.

Set up once

Create your profile — voice use type, weekly vocal load and your care circle — so your measures and reports are personalised.

Check in daily

Three short recording tasks and a quick symptom questionnaire. A guided walkthrough and tutorial videos make the first day easy.

See your voice clearly

Your Infinivox Score, 7-day trend and calendar reveal your baseline, your direction — and what moves them.

Share when it matters

Send trend reports to your voice care circle, and arrive at appointments with data instead of guesswork.

For speech pathologists & voice teams

Infinivox extends your clinic into your patient's week. Between appointments, you see what actually happened — not what they remember on the day.

  • Objective home measures — daily range, MPT and register-break trends captured with research-grade pitch tracking.
  • PROMs on autopilot — EASE, VHI-10, RSI and V-RQOL collected on schedule, scored and interpreted, with clinical flags surfaced.
  • Adherence you can see — the calendar shows practice consistency at a glance, session to session.
  • Patient-initiated reports — trend summaries arrive in your inbox before the appointment, not during it.

The science under the hood

  • Pitch tracking uses the YIN algorithm (de Cheveigné & Kawahara, 2002) — verified to sub-cent accuracy across the vocal range.
  • Symptom measures are published, validated instruments: EASE (Phyland et al., 2013), VHI-10 (Rosen et al., 2004), RSI (Belafsky et al., 2002) and V-RQOL (Hogikyan & Sethuraman, 1999) — each on its clinically appropriate schedule.
  • Vocal dose follows the validated Titze, Švec & Popolo (2003) distance-dose model used in occupational voice research.
Developed with laryngologists, speech pathologists and singers in Melbourne, Australia.

Where this is heading

Every daily check-in builds a personal dataset of how your voice behaves — under load, after rest, through illness and recovery. With time and continued research, this foundation is designed to support something bigger: helping identify when a voice is trending towards risk of strain, dysfunction or injury — early enough to rest, adjust technique, or see your clinician before a problem takes hold.

Infinivox tracks and informs — it does not diagnose, and it is not a substitute for assessment by a qualified clinician. Predictive features are a research direction, not a current clinical claim. If you're concerned about your voice, see your speech pathologist or laryngologist.

Your voice works hard. Start measuring it.

Three minutes a day. One clear score. A care circle that finally sees what you've been describing.

All-day passive tracking via wearable dosimeter — upload a recording to preview the analysis
Coming soon — but you can try the analysis now
A body-worn vocal dosimeter will stream pitch, phonation time and loudness through your day. The commercial hardware isn't here yet — but the analysis engine is ready. Upload any voice recording or sensor file below and Infinivox will extract the same metrics a dosimeter would, using the validated Titze & Švec dose equations.

How the dose is calculated

Vocal dose quantifies cumulative vibratory exposure of the vocal folds. From your recording's fundamental frequency (F0), sound pressure level (SPL) and phonation time, Infinivox computes:
  • Time dose — total voiced seconds
  • Cycle dose = Σ F0·dt — total vocal-fold oscillations
  • Distance dose = Σ 4·A·F0·dt — the distance vocal-fold tissue actually travels, where amplitude A rises with loudness
Equations from Titze, Švec & Popolo (2003), J Speech Lang Hear Res 46(4):919–932. Titze's safe reference: a distance dose of ~500 m corresponds to ~17 min of continuous loud voicing. A body-worn accelerometer/dosimeter gives true SPL; browser-mic estimates are calibrated approximations.

Microphone loudness calibration

Browser mics report relative level, not true dB SPL. If you have a sound-level meter (or a phone SPL app), match the reading to calibrate.
Default (100 dB) assumes a typical phone/laptop mic at ~30 cm. Raise or lower until a known 70 dB reference reads ~70 dB in a recording.

Prototype note

Desktop web prototype of the Infinivox app. Recording uses the browser microphone with an in-page YIN pitch tracker, so pitch glide, MPT and live tuning are computed locally rather than via the pitchGlideAPI / mptAPI cloud endpoints. Data is in-memory for this session only.
